Ready to take a hike? Now is a great time of the year to take a morning hike at Pinnacle Peak Park in north Scottsdale. The two videos included with this article will enable you  to get an idea of what the trail is like and gain some valuable background information about the volunteers who work to ensure that your visit to the park is truly enjoyable.

Pinnacle Peak, located at the north end of the McDowell Mountains, rises to an elevation of 3,170 from the floor of the Sonoran Desert. It’s located approximately 20 miles north of downtown Scottsdale, 13 miles southeast of Carefree and Cave Creek, and 25 miles northeast of downtown Phoenix. The grand opening of the park was held on April 20, 2002.
