Thanks to a Peak Team - A Peek at the Peak Magazine

Thanks to a Peak Team

By Les Conklin

I cannot think of a better way to conclude this final printed edition of A Peek at the Peak magazine than to thank the special people who have made it possible to get every issue out on-schedule, while meeting the high-standards expected by our readers. We have been working together since 2003.

Readers often comment about the quality layout of the magazine. Sandie McCune, the magazine’s art director, has been laying out the magazine since 2000. Because of her skill and dedication, The Peak has been able to seamlessly transition from a black and white magazine to full color. When she began working on The Peak, Sandie lived in Scottsdale and has since moved to California.

Marilyn’s picture might be familiar to you. Marilyn Schletzer was donating her time as The Peak‘s proof reader when I became th Mce editor and has reviewed every issue since that time, on time. She’s an excellent writer and contributes an article on health and exercise for just about every issue. Marilyn lives in north Scottsdale.

Of course there is more to The Peak than publishing articles. Mel and Darlene Cassio have supported The Peak with their website and advertising design skills since 2004. The Cassios live in Colorado.

Tempe-based Courier Graphics, has done an outstanding job printing the magazine all these years. Similarly, Business Helpers, located in the Scottsdale Airpark has mailed copies of the magazine to members and supporters without a glitch.

I cannot thank Sandie, Marilyn, Mel, and Darlene for their support and friendship. The good news is that the same team will continue to work together producing the new online magazine.
