Pinnacle Peak Park Spring 2022 Newsletter – 20th Anniversary Edition

“Hiker at Daybreak” by Kathy Mascao

February 25, 2020

Good Morning Volunteers and Hikers!

This is VERY exciting! The park will be celebrating its TWENTIETH Anniversary on April 20th! So, what did we do for this big event? We created a special edition newsletter to commemorate the occasion! It was really fun to produce, especially going back through a lot of the historical photos and memory lane! We have a wonderful editor, Challie Facemire who puts together each edition for us on her own time, on a volunteer basis! Even when she moved to Maine for a few years! Yay, shout out for Challie!

That said, I have attached 3 different ways to access the online version. I had been having difficulty opening it on my computer, so I wanted to make sure that all of you could access it one way or another. You can do so by either opening the attachment, going to the Friends of PPP website, or selecting the link below to view it. There will be a hard copy arriving to the park in about 10 days that you can pick up from the kiosk outside of the office.

Here is the Friend’s website link: http://www.foppp.com/newsletters.html This is the link for this edition specifically: http://nebula.wsimg.com/e80ebca258ffec881d31ac583efc55a9?AccessKeyId=D2F0CD3927A17B86576D&disposition=0&alloworigin=1

Additionally, we are in the process of creating a 20th Anniversary bandanna using volunteer, Jan Spieczny’s beautiful roadrunner drawing! This will be our 3rd bandanna give-away for a monumental year thanks to the generous funding from the Friends of PPP! These will be available on the day of our Anniversary!

Super fun!

Enjoy!
