The March 2017  issue of this magazine published photographs of flowers that I took in 2008 during a drive to Bartlett Lake.  We had quite a bit of rain this past winter and that usually means an unusually good year for flower blooms. My wife, Carol, and I decided to drive to Bartlett Lake to check out the flowers. It was a good decision.
