Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale Celebrates 20!

What better way to start 2020 than to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North.  The north Scottsdale resort has brought comfort and enjoyment to guests from all over the world.  In addition, the upscale resort has supported more than a decade of The Peak‘s Summer Fun Contests that have showcased the photographic skills of readers and the beauty of north Scottsdale and neighboring Desert Foothills communities.

Below are photographs of the resort’s December 12, 2019 anniversary event. Held at the resort,  it was attended by hundreds of Four Seasons employees from a variety of countries and resort locations, media professional and invited guests.

 

In the Beginning, …

The development plan shown below was published in the August 1989 issue of The Peak.  The far-sighted plan , which was being considered by the City of Scottsdale, encompassed the area straddling Dynamite Boulevard between Pima Road and Alma School Parkway. The master plan called for different types of neighborhoods, two golf courses, parks – including Pinnacle Peak Park, and a resort.  The resort that resulted from the plan was the Four Seasons at Troon North, located just northeast of Pinnacle Peak Park.

 

Did You Know?

The Four Seasons Resort is located at 10600 E. Crescent Moon Drive in Scottsdale. Year’s before the resort became a dream in the eyes of planners, it was the site of Crescent Moon Ranch, which was owned by the Kellogg family of breakfast cereal fame.
