Howdie Pardner,

Yup. It’s good to see you again. Desert Les is back. Not because them Peak readers demanded it but because the fool editor told Desert Les to fill this here white space with interestin’ doings and seeings.

The fool editor called Desert Les into his big, fancy office the other day. “Desert Les, you old coot, we just received some more great photographs from Howard Myers. Nobody loves Arizona more and has worked longer and harder to preserve that beauty. Plus, there is no one who has sent us more great pictures of north Scottsdale and environs and Arizona over the decades. Why, some of his best images and sunsets and sunrises are taken from his own back yard. I want people to enjoy these pictures now but he’s away and didn’t include any titles. So Desert Les, get your butt in the saddle, use your imagination, if you have one, and add titles to these pictures. GET OUT OF HERE AND DO IT NOW!”

That’s what the dang editor said and here are the photographs with Desert Les’ captions added. I hope you, Howard and the fool editor like ’em. Yup.
