Scottsdale Voters Overwhelmingly Approve First Major Bond Program in City Since 2000

Dear Friends:

I am writing today to say “thank you” for your support of Scottsdale’s bond requests on Tuesday.
All three questions have passed with large margins.

As a member of the Council’s Bond Subcommittee (along with Chair Guy Phillips and Member Suzanne Klapp) I worked hard to limit the bond requests to only those items which I believe will benefit citizens throughout the City. We are blessed to live in a beautiful city. I believe it is our duty to insure we maintain its standards for a high quality of life by providing the infrastructure necessary to meet our current and future needs.

With your support we will do just that. Those projects which were listed on the bond package are the ones we will build. Once again, we will form a bond oversight committee to ensure each project is completed as promised. And we will authorize the selling of the new bonds as the old ones are paid off so Scottsdale’s portion of your property taxes will remain low.

Again, thank you all for helping to Keep Scottsdale Special.

Councilwoman Kathy Littlefield
