Cave Creek News: Spur Cross Road Widening

Cave Creek News Header

spurcrosswideningBeginning June 6, 2022, the Town of Cave Creek Public Works staff will be working on widening a 600 foot long section of Spur Cross Road.   The work will take place from approximately 7 am to 1 pm Monday through Friday.   The project is expected to take two weeks.

The work will begin approximately 0.7 miles (3700 feet) north of the intersection of Spur Cross and Honda Bow Roads.   The area between the light green lines in the aerial photo represents the area of construction.

The work will consist of the removal of approximately 5 feet of the eastern bank along the road to widen the road through this section.

The public should expect delays during these time periods.  The Road will be posted as LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY during the periods of active construction.   The Road will be fully open each afternoon and on the weekends during the construction period.

Please direct any questions that you might have on this project to Hal Marron, PE, Cave Creek Town Engineer / Public Works Director at hmarron@cavecreekaz.gov or 480-488-6625.
