Arizona Musicfest Announces Winners of Young Musicians Competitions

Piano, Solo Instrumental, Chamber Ensemble and Vocal Winners To Perform in Concert May 15 at 2pm

at the Musical Instrument Museum

(Phoenix, Scottsdale) Each year, Arizona Musicfest attracts some of the brightest young musical talent from around the State of Arizona to its instrumental and vocal competitions. Over 100 talented young artists, grades 7 through 12, competed in this year’s Musicfest Competitions, which are organized into divisions, based on grade level.  The judges, which included a distinguished roster of top professional musicians and teachers from throughout the Valley, awarded up to three winners per division. Click here for complete list of winners.

The top young talent from the competitions will perform a concert of their competition-winning selections at the Arizona Musicfest Young Musicians Winners Concert on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 2pm in the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM). 4725 E. Mayo Boulevard, Phoenix AZ 85050.  (Artists scheduled to perform are listed below)

Tickets are $10 and are available at the Musical Instrument Museum’s website.
