Near Hayden Road and 83rd Place. The applicant is requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit renewal for a Medical Marijuana Use (dispensary) in an existing 6,800 square foot facility.

General Plan timeframe changes to include more public outreach

The public hearing process for the draft Scottsdale General Plan 2035 has been extended so the city can continue community outreach efforts. Additional open houses will be held on Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Horizon Park Community Center, 15444 N. 100th St. (a brief informational presentation will be given at 11:30 a.m. and again at 12:30 p.m.) and Nov. 15 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Copper Ridge School Cafeteria, 10101 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy (a brief informational presentation will be given at 6 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.).

 

State law requires the city to update its General Plan every 10 years. The General Plan is the primary tool for guiding future development and the character of the city over the next 20 years. The public can review the draft plan and submit feedback at General Plan 2035. Major General Plan Amendment Case, Process, & Timeline

Desert Mountain Parcel 19 (5-GP-2016)

5-GP-2016 is a request by the applicant to change the land use designation from Employment, Office, Commercial, Developed Open Space and Rural Neighborhoods to Suburban Neighborhoods and Developed Open Space (Golf Course) as a means to develop a 190 unit single family residential community with an integrated, 18-hole short game (par-3) golf course and clubhouse. The subject site is 91.7 acres in size and is located north of the northeast corner of Cave Creek & Pima Roads.
