  • Wild At Heart Owls & Raptors Live Exhibit and Photos

Be part of the fun at The Summit Diner, 32531 N. Scottsdale Road, STE 101, Scottsdale, AZ 85266. For the entire evening ALL the Summer Fun photo entries will be displayed on a large screen. Also shown will be the best  photographs published in  The Peak magazine since 2003, and beautiful   photos of hawks and owls provided courtesy of Wild At Heart. Bring your friends and watch the home-grown photography show.

In addition, Wild At Heart will be on hand exhibiting live hawks and owls. Also, the winners of this year’s Summer Fun contests will be recognized, and we’ll be providing information about our effort to “Save the Desert Foothills Scenic Drive” from the development of another large, unnecessary  shopping center.

Free Program, Enjoy Dinner at Standard Prices

Order food and beverages from the menu at regular prices. The Summit Diner is generously supporting the contest and the Scenic Drive by donating a percentage to GPPA of all checks exceeding $10. Guests will also have the opportunity to invest in a 50/50 raffle, with the winning ticket being drawn during the program. The winner need not be present at the time of the drawing.

The Best Peak Photographs Since 2003

For many years The Peak magazine has been known for the terrific photographs. Beautiful photographs of  local landscapes, wildlife, and our community taken by people who live here. Many of these photographs were past winners of  our Summer Fun photo contest, others were contributed by local photographers, including Dennis Liddell, Frank Biondo, Glenn B. Jenks, Howard Myers, and  the late Tony Nelssen.  As guests enjoy a relaxed meal, a selection of these photographs will be displayed on a large screen.

This event is open to the public; all ages are welcome! Order food and beverages from the menu at the standard prices.  Enjoy a relaxing meal and program with friends and neighbors and invest in a 50/50 raffle. In addition to the owls and beautiful photographs, a highlight of the evening will be the selection of the Diners’ Choice Award winner by guests.
