play_curtain500Setting: MacDonald’s Ranch, North Scottsdale
Time: Saturday, March 5, 2016 3 p.m.
Characters: Many, plus entertainers, exhibitors, friends, and neighbors

Opening Scene:  You’re sitting in your home. You’re bored. You’d like to do something really different. Have some fun, an adventure. Perhaps help a local cause. You sigh.

YOU THINK. Where can  I go and enjoy some western fun, listen to live music, see Sonoran and exotic wildlife, learn about local history and parks, eat, meet civic leaders, and perhaps win a stay at the Four Seasons Resort or the Fairmont Princess Resort.

YOU HEAR. People are saying, “Pass .. the . pancakes,” “Pass . the . pancakes,” and then you hear them beat drums in rhythm with those words. There’s laughter, music, people from all over conversing. You wonder, what is that?

YOU SHOUT. OMG, I forgot!  The Scottsdale Western Cookout Adventure is today. I don’t want to miss the release of a rescued great horned owl back to nature, the drum circle,  or the tribute to Pinnacle Peak’s old watering holes.

A BOOMING VOICE FROM OFFSTAGE SAYS. It’s not too late. Tickets are available online or at the door. JUST CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW  FOR INFORMATION. But. act now before the play ends.
