The Greater Pinnacle Peak Association (GPPA) – Friends of the Scenic Drive opposes the proposed development of a self-storage facility and the required commercial zoning on Scottsdale’s Scenic Drive. We are producing a series of videos to publicize the reasons for our opposition.

This introductory video, features Les Conklin, President of the Greater Pinnacle Peak Association and founder of Friends of the Scenic Drive.

Your Support is Essential

Here is what Scottsdale homeowners can do to oppose the Lone Mountain Self-Storage applications for a Major General Plan Amendment Case 2-GP-2018 and companion Rezoning Case 8-ZN-2018.

  1. ATTEND the City-sponsored Open House on Thurs. Sept 13th from 5:00-7:00pm at Copper Ridge School, 10101 E. Thompson Peak Parkway, 85255.
  2. SIGN IN so the City has a record of the attendees. This becomes part of the Staff Report and Public Record.
  3. WRITE and leave a Comment Card. This becomes part of the Staff Report.
  4. WRITE to Planning Staff and City Council to express your views.
