Scottsdale’s signature holiday celebration features a sleigh-full of family-friendly activities throughout December. Highlights are below; browse the full schedule at Scottsdazzle.com.

 

Holiday Tree Lighting and Sing-Along – This magical start to the season lights up the Scottsdale night with more than 1 million custom colors on the Scottsdazzle tree. 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 30, on the Scottsdale Waterfront’s Soleri Bridge.

 

Sugar Plum Avenue – Kids of all ages will be enchanted by sugar plum fairies, princesses, aerial performances, candy land bounce houses, Nutcracker ballet performances each hour and a brand-new tea party in the street. 3 to 7 p.m. Dec. 7 on Old Town’s 5th Avenue.

 

Gold Palette ArtWalk– This special holiday-themed ArtWalk celebrates the spirit of Scottsdazzle with ice sculptors creating frozen masterpieces, strolling carolers, visits from “elves” and refreshments designed to help get guests in the holiday mood. 6:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 12 in Old Town.

 

Santa Wine Around and Ale Trail – Special discounts and a commemorative glass for those who come dressed as Santa, Mrs. Claus or an elf! 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 14 in Old Town.

 

Sweet Treat Trail – This new event features a delicious dessert tasting experience that takes place at local sweet shops around Old Town. Complete the Sweet Trail to be entered to win one of several fun “Treat Yourself” prize packages valued at $300! 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 15 in Old Town.

 

Canal Concert Series – Holiday sounds abound featuring the local talent of the Scottsdale Chorus, Phoenix Girls Chorus and Campanillas del Sol Handbell Ensemble. 7 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 7, 14 and 21 near the Waterfront’s Soleri Bridge.
