New Cases

Near Almeria Road and 69th Street. The applicant is requesting approval of a Certification of Appropriateness and Historic Residential Exterior Rehabilitation (HRER) funding for a carport enclosure and a garage addition.

CASE#18-HP-2016

 

Near Scottsdale Road and Chauncey Lane. The applicant is requesting approval of a Zoning District Map Amendment from Planned Community (P-C) District to Planned Community (P-C) District with comparable Planned Regional Center (PRC) District, including Development Plan and amended PRC development standards; specifically, eliminate maximum floor area ratio for office and residential, increase allowed building height from 60 feet (exclusive of rooftop appurtenances) to 75 feet (inclusive of rooftop appurtenances), amend minimum building setbacks from property line (20 feet on E. Chauncey Lane, 25 Feet on N. 73rd Place), and reduce minimum property size from 25 acres (gross) to 12 acres (gross); and add Planned Shared Development (PSD) District overlay, including Development Agreement for a mixed use project on a 12-acre site.

Near Scottsdale Road and Chauncey Lane. The applicant is requesting approval of a Minor Subdivision to divide one parcel into two parcels for a mixed-use development.

Near Raintree Drive and Hayden Road. The applicant is requesting a Zoning District Map Amendment from Industrial Park (I-1) to Highway Commercial (C-3) zoning.

Near White Feather Lane and Southwind Lane. The applicant is requesting approval of a site plan, landscape plan and building elevations for a new build with 32 resort villas, totaling 64 keys and an amenity building.

Near Osborn Road and 71st Street. The applicant is requesting approval of a site plan, landscape plan and building elevations for renovations and addition of the existing two-story office building.

Near Scottsdale Road and Oak Street. The applicant is requesting approval of a site plan, landscape plan and building elevations for a new Salad and Go Restaurant.

Near Scottsdale Road and Gold Dust Avenue. The applicant is requesting an amendment to a Conditional Use Permit for a Circle K Gas Station redevelopment and expansion.

CASE#10-UP-2016

 

Near 77th Place and Northland Drive. The applicant is requesting approval of a conversion of a carport to an enclosed garage with Historic Property (R-4 HP) zoning on the north east side of an existing single-family residence.

Near Indian School Road and 64th Street. The applicant is requesting approval of an exterior paint change for an existing apartment building.

General Plan Timeframe Changes to Include More Public Outreach

The public hearing process for the draft Scottsdale General Plan 2035 has been extended so the city can continue community outreach efforts. Additional open houses will be held on Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Horizon Park Community Center, 15444 N. 100th St. (a brief informational presentation will be given at 11:30 a.m. and again at 12:30 p.m.) and Nov. 15 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Copper Ridge School Cafeteria, 10101 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy (a brief informational presentation will be given at 6 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.).

 

State law requires the city to update its General Plan every 10 years. The General Plan is the primary tool for guiding future development and the character of the city over the next 20 years. The public can review the draft plan and submit feedback at General Plan 2035. Major General Plan Amendment Case, Process, & Timeline

Desert Mountain Parcel 19 (5-GP-2016)

5-GP-2016 is a request by the applicant to change the land use designation from Employment, Office, Commercial, Developed Open Space and Rural Neighborhoods to Suburban Neighborhoods and Developed Open Space (Golf Course) as a means to develop a 190 unit single family residential community with an integrated, 18-hole short game (par-3) golf course and clubhouse. The subject site is 91.7 acres in size and is located north of the northeast corner of Cave Creek & Pima Roads.
