Near 128th Street and Tierra Estates Drive. The owner is requesting approval for a Zoning District Map Amendment from the Single-family Residential, Environmentally Sensitive Lands (R1-130 ESL) zoning to the Single-family Residential, Environmentally Sensitive Lands (R1-43 ESL) zoning district.

Sign Ordinance Update – Permanent Signs

(Case No. 1-TA-2017)

The City of Scottsdale is preparing a text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance that will amend the requirements for permanent signs, related provisions and requirements. As part of a broad city-wide outreach on this proposal, the community is invited for review and comment at two Open Houses regarding this proposed amendment. Staff representatives will be available to provide information and respond to questions.

Do your Neighbors have Scottsdale Spirit?

The City of Scottsdale’s Neighborhood Advisory Commission (NAC) wants to recognize people and places that embody the Spirit of Scottsdale. Nominate your neighbor for a Scottsdale Spirit Award and become eligible for a gift card drawing from Home Depot, Lowe’s or Ace Hardware!

The NAC works to preserve, improve and strengthen neighborhoods in Scottsdale. How a place looks, feels, contributions to the neighborhood aesthetically or socially, places that make you feel happy or content, history of giving back to the community are all reasons to nominate. Although anyone can nominate, the entries should fall within Indian Bend Road South to the Tempe border.
