Near Sahuaro Drive and Windrose Drive. The owner is requesting approval to amend the Development Standards and Stipulations of Case 60-ZN-1983#2 to allow for a second-story addition to the existing home on Lot 10 of Escondido Manor, with Single-family Residential Planned Residential Development (R1-7 PRD) zoning.

Near Pinnacle peak Road and Miller Road. The owner is requesting approval of a preliminary plat, landscape plan and building elevations for a 186-unit residential development.

Care Homes/Group Homes City-Wide Text Amendment

(Case No. 2-TA-2017)

The city of Scottsdale is preparing a text amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to address care homes and group homes in residential zoning districts.  In an effort to gather public comment and answer questions related to the amendment, city staff will be conducting a Community Open House.

NAOS and Fire Safety

Summer temperatures have arrived and with that comes the increased risk for wildland fires. Planning and Development Services has collaborated with Scottsdale Fire to incorporate guidelines for residents to create areas of defensible space on their properties including within Natural Area Open Space Easements. The updated Guide to NAOS is available here: http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/Assets/ScottsdaleAZ/Building/Guide-NAOS.pdf
