Scottsdale Adopt A Road Thanks GPPA’s Scenic Drive Volunteers

THANK YOU ALL!!

Thanks go out to the Adopt A Road team leaders and volunteers, and the one-time groups who all participated in the

April 16th Keep Scottsdale Beautiful citywide event in conjunction with National Volunteer Week!

 

33 groups involving almost 500 volunteers cleaned approximately 70 miles of roadway and

picked up 3 tons of litter!

 

A well-deserved THANK YOU to everyone who contributed!

He was named to Scottsdale's History Maker Hall of Fame in 2014. Les is a past editor of A Peek at the Peak and the author of Images of America: Pinnacle Peak. He served on the Scottsdale's Pride Commission, McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission, the boards of several local nonprofits and was a founding organizer of the city's Adopt-A-Road Program.. Les is a volunteer guide at the Musical Instrument Museum.
