Retired? Let the fun begin! Write a book.

Retired? Let the fun begin! Write a book.

That is just what Julien “Butch” Ayotte has done. In fact, since he retired after earning a Ph. D and enjoying a successful career in business and education he’s published four books and is finishing his fifth. Ayotte and his older brother are both Sigma Chi fraternity brothers of mine from “back in the day” at the University of Rhode Island.

I know that several of the people who contribute articles to The Peak have either written books, are writing books or have expressed an interest in writing a book. I thought they and other Peak readers might enjoy Ayotte’s latest newsletter. It provides insight into what it takes to market and sell your words to the public. I think the many talented artists who live in our area can relate to the challenge.

So far, I have read A Life Before, Dangerous Blood Lines and Disappearance and I recommend them – one and all.  Especially, if you are looking for  relaxing, attention gripping tale that will take you to interesting places. Thus far, I’ve written a review for A Life Before. You’ll find a link for the review below. The review provides more information about Ayotte and his books, including links to his website and Amazon.
