Four Seasons Resort Troon North Scottsdale

It’s summer. How does The Peak entice you to leave the pool and enter a Summer Fun contest?

#1. Make the Grand Prize for each contest a one-night stay at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale, including breakfast at the resort’s Proof Restaurant. Show a picture of the resort’s pool in articles about the contests (look to the right).

#2. Feature all winning entries online in The Peak magazine for a month or longer. Last year, we had some very good photos that did not win and we posted them online as well.

#3. Recognize all winners in The Peak Newsletter, on Facebook and on Twitter.

#4. Have terrific prizes for other winners, such as complimentary admissions to some of our area’s top attractions, retail and entertainment gift cards, and more.

#5. Showcase entries at The Summit of Summer Fun on September 9th. Provide an opportunity for guests to win a one night stay at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort.

#6. Give entrants in each contest multiple opportunities to win.

Five Photo Categories: Travel, Landscape, Wildlife, Scenic Drive, Local People
Three WriteStuff Categories: My Hero, What’s Worth Preserving, Seeing & Doing

#7. Make it FREE and easy for people to enter the contests.

Anything else?

Yes. And this is new.

#8. Print and distribute a beautiful 2018-2019 Summer Fun calendar that features a winning photography entry each month and includes winning Write Stuff entries. The calendar will include winning photos from past contests, like “Solar Blessing” by Bruce Houser, shown below. Use the calendar as a fund-raiser to support the Desert Foothills Scenic Drive, the natural environment and other causes supported by the Greater Pinnacle Peak Association.

Winning entries will be featured in GPPA’s beautiful 2018-2019 Summer Fun Calendar that will be printed and available as a fund-raiser.

#9. Make one of the prizes 25 chances to hit the Arizona Lottery, Who knows? A lucky winner might enjoy fun-filled summers for many years.

Anything else?

YES.

#10. Set a deadline to force potential winners, like you, to “get out of the pool” and submit entries

THE DEADLINE IS AUGUST 27, 2017.

Anything else?

YES!

Peak readers love seeing pictures and reading stories that are produced by people who love our community as much as they do. In fact, the best prize of all might be knowing that your summer fun is being widely enjoyed by your neighbors and others.

What are the prizes? What are the rules?  How do I enter?
