For Dennis, Condolences and a Photographic “Thank You”

We were saddened to learn that Dennis Liddell’s wife, Ann, passed away on January 14th. Dennis has been a true friend of The Peak‘s over the years, generously sharing his time and many of his photos with us and The Peak‘s readers. We’re confident that he also shared his best photographs and Peak covers with Ann.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Dennis and his family. We hope these photographs provide a small measure of relaxation  during this very difficult time. We have many more Liddell photos that will be published in the future. Editor

About Ann Liddell by Colleen Kelly

Rhoda “Ann” Liddell – wife of Dennis Liddell, long-time contributor to, and friend of, “The Peak” – passed away on January 14, 2005. Ann was born on May 20, 1942 in Madison, Florida. She and Dennis Liddell met in Tampa through a mutual friend and the rest, as they say, is history. Ann got her bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Florida and her Masters at Rutgers in New Jersey. She felt that her early childhood polio greatly influenced her choice of a career in the field of community mental health. She had received the help of so many during her illness and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she was able to help countless others whose lives she touched. She worked at the prestigious Sherman Oaks Burn Center in California for many years before joining Dennis in his photographic endeavors. They moved to Arizona in 1999 shortly after the North Ridge Earthquake heavily damaged their home and she continued to be a devoted partner to her husband of 49 years.
