Every year I make a personal donation to Wikimedia Foundation, the nonprofit that provides Wikipedia. Wikipedia is my favorite information resource and something that I use almost every day.

What does Wikimedia do?  “We are the people who keep knowledge free. There is an amazing community of people around the world that makes great projects like Wikipedia. We help them do that work. We take care of the technical infrastructure, the legal challenges, and the growing pains.”  Wikimedia Foundation Website

A few days ago, I recieved an email thank you gift for my most recent donation. Click on the links below to view some absolutely incredible photographs. You might also consider making a small donation to support this world-wide effort.

  1. Thanks for the great pics. I cannot find any information about the Desert Foothills Scenic Drive on Wikipedia. What’s the secret? Isn’t your organization responsible for that?
