Cooling and Heating with Ductless Mini-Splits
Date: Thursday, June 7
Time: 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Location: Scottsdale Granite Reef Senior Center, 1700 N. Granite Reef Road (northwest corner of McDowell and Granite Reef, behind the convenience store)
 Learn about ductless mini-split cooling technology for room-by-room temperature control, comfort and energy savings. Used for decades in Europe and Asia, “ductless” mini-split heat pumps differ from traditional home heating and cooling systems. Instead of leaky and bulky duct work, ductless mini-split heat pumps use an indoor unit connected to an outdoor unit via refrigerant lines.
Up to eight indoor units can be attached to one outdoor unit allowing for different temperature settings in various locations in the house. This can cut cooling costs up to 40%.

Longtime heating, ventilation and air conditioning specialist Jim Clark will explain the advantages and benefits of the ductless mini-split systems. Jim has over 34 years of experience in the cooling and heating industry including commercial HVAC systems and digital controls.
