Video: Protecting the Landscape You Love

dflt_desert_scene_500The Desert Foothills Land Trust does extensive work throughout the North Valley, truly improving quality of life for residents and visitors. The Desert Foothills Land Trust was founded in 1991. It has 26 preserves that stretch from Carefree west to Anthem and New River, encompassing more than 680 acres. Most of the properties are open to the public.

Jim remarked that the video is special to him “since I was able to film it in my own backyard—areas that are special to me where I hike regularly with my own family.”

The video is one of several that Jim David Photography produced on Desert Foothills Land Trust conservation. The videos received five Telly Awards. The Telly Awards recognize outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials, as well as the best video and film productions and online commercials. This year’s competition garnered more than 13,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries. Telly winners this year include networks such as ESPN, NBC, HBO, Fox and Viacom, as well as Microsoft, Time Warner and Comcast.
