Setting: My bedroom
Time: March 5, 2016, 9:30 p.m.
Characters: Me, Myself, and I

Previous Act of Western Play in One Act: MacDonald’s Ranch was alive with music, animals, drumming as more than 100 guests enjoyed the 2016 Scottsdale Western Cookout Adventure. The event ended with a short program that included drawings and recognition of contributors to the event.  Western Play in One Act this Saturday, March 5th.

Scene:  I’m in bed, wiped out. The 2016 Scottsdale Western Cookout Adventure ended a few hours ago.  I’m tired but pleased. It went well. Everybody seemed to have a good time. Perhaps GPPA even made a little money. I begin to drift off to slumberland.

I THINK. OMG. During the program, I forgot to name the volunteers who worked so hard. I should have also identified the exhibitors, too. That’s really bad. They really deserved to be recognized.

I SAY. Oh well. I’ll just have to send them amails and  thank them all when I see them.

A BOOMING VOICE SAYS. Les, that’s not good enough! They deserve more.  Get out of bed and write a thank you article for The Peak. You could title it “Curtain Call.”

I THINK. That title is a great idea but I really need to sleep. I’ll write the article later.

LATER, I WRITE.
