Scenic Drive Visitors Exhibit

The State Land Department has proposed replacing the Scenic Drive’s exhibit and the neighboring open desert with new commercial and resort/tourism development.
We’re producing the Save The Scenic Drive Shout Out video to publicize opposition to this proposal.

To be included in the video, arrive at the Desert Foothills Scenic Drive exhibit area by 3:30 p.m. Filming will take up to one hour. The group of video “cast members” will be asked to shout a single line – “Save the Scenic Drive!”

Directions and Parking

The Scenic Drive exhibit area is located on the east side of Scottsdale Road 3/4 mile north of Happy Valley Road, 1/4 mile south of Jomax Road, across from the entrance to MacDonald’s Ranch, which is marked by a colorful horse and sign. Free parking is available in the exhibit area, and if necessary along Scottsdale Road.
