Here are my Last Supper choices, a traditional New England Thanksgiving Day dinner with a twist. Here’s the twist. For starters: an order of Iggy’s clam cakes with their clam chowder. Iggy’s is a line-down-the-street, order-service-at-the-window place in Point Judith, Rhode Island that’s been there forever. Main Course: My Mom’s baked beans, cooked in a crock overnight with a huge slab of pork fat on top, the beans on top are black, hard and yummy. Roast turkey, stuffing, sweet tatoes, boiled onions, mashed potatoes and tons of gravy, and a side of green olives. Desert – Bring on the Costco pumpkin pie and some terimisu from Federal Hill in Providence. I hope the same forgiving scale is waiting at the gate. Terrific artcle. Les
