This year the Desert Foothills Land Trust opened its “It’s Art for Land’s Sake” contest on February 19th. The opening reception was held on March 8th. The event was held to promote the conservation of land and wildlife. Judges reviewed all entries and selected those that would be displayed and sold as part of an exhibition that was held at the Desert Foothills Library from March 8th through March 22nd.
