Scottsdale’s annual Report to Our Citizens is available online
Did you know that Scottsdale opened 7.5 miles of new trails in the preserve and increased the percentage of compressed natural gas vehicles in the city’s fleet to 64 percent through diesel equipment replacement within the past year?
This information, and more, is found in the latest annual Report to Our Citizens, which covers the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2016. The report is now available online.
This report summarizes information included in other published documents also available on the city’s website, such as the budget, comprehensive annual financial report and quarterly performance reports.

About the Citizen-Centric Reporting Initiative
This format has been developed by the Association of Government Accountants and is similar to those issued by other local and state governments throughout the country.
The association’s Citizen-Centric Government Reporting Initiative encourages governments to produce and publish an annual ‘state of the government’ report that is no more than four pages long.
The report is designed to be visually appealing, and provide understandable information to citizens about the financial condition and performance of the city’s government.
Scottsdale received a “Certificate of Excellence in Citizen-Centric Reporting” for each report issued since 2010.
