Foothills Animal Rescue Breaks Ground on New Facility

On Tuesday, April 19, 2016, Foothills Animal Rescue broke ground on their new Brynne Smith Memorial Campus slated to open in Scottsdale this November.  Approximately 150 VIPs, staff and volunteers attended the event, including Mayor Jim Lane, City of Scottsdale, and Carefree Councilmembers Melissa Price and Glenn Miller.

About Foothills Animal Rescue

Foothills Animal Rescue (FAR) is a cage-free, non-profit (501(c)3) organization that saves lives by rescue, care and adoption of homeless cats and dogs. Located at 23030 N Pima Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85255 FAR has been saving lives since 1995. We are successfully reducing homeless pets in our community through rescue, loving care and able to provide a temporary safe “haven” while working towards finding our orphaned pets a forever home. We are able to shelter 60 animals, relying heavily on our dedicated volunteers to socialize, exercise, groom our animals and help keep our shelter and Adoption Center clean and organized. Foothills Animal Rescue works closely with the community by providing animal welfare resources and education of responsible pet ownership.
