Desert Edge Alert: Exciting Year for Scottsdale’s Desert Educational Center

The proposal for Desert Edge was unveiled last summer. The proposal was prepared by a variety of  participating organizations, including Thinc Design, ASU, Swaback Partners and Desert Discovery Center Scottsdale.

In this newsletter, Desert Discovery Center Scottsdale gets 2018 off to a fresh start by describing the major features and benefits identified in the proposal. The newsletter also summarizes the story of the long-planned center and describes the important contributions that have been made by advocates and critics.

He served on the Scottsdale's Pride Commission, McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission, the boards of several local nonprofits and was a founding organizer of the city's Adopt-A-Road Program.. Les is a volunteer guide at the Musical Instrument Museum.
