New Cases


Citywide. The city of Scottsdale is requesting approval to amend the Zoning Ordinance (Ord. 455) to revise definitions and Use Regulations related to short-term rentals or vacation rentals, consistent with State of Arizona Senate Bill No. 1350.



Near Meadowbrook Avenue and 76th Place. The owner is requesting approval of exterior rehabilitation of the structure including stucco, paint, and landscaping with Townhouse Residential, Historic Property (R-4 HP) zoning, located at 7615 E. Meadowbrook Ave.



Near Hidden Spur Trail and 93rd Street. The owner is requesting approval of the site plan, landscape plan, and building elevations for a new office with light manufacturing and retail, approximately 11,000 sq. ft. with Industrial Park/Planned Community District (I-1 PCD) zoning, located at 17465 N. 93rd St.



Near Scottsdale Road and Pinnacle Peak Road. The owner is requesting request by the applicant for approval the site plan, landscape plan, and building elevations for a new residential healthcare facility on approximately 4.5 acres with Central Business Environmentally Sensituive Lands (C-2 ESL) zoning, located at 23733 N. Scottsdale Road.

  1. CASE#30-DR-2016 What could possibly be the justification for a residential healthcare facility just north of Vi & the hospital at Thompson Peak? I understand that you are going to trash the Scottsdale Rd. ‘scenic drive’ north to Cavrefree, but why duplicative commercial development. Couldn’t you be content with a few scattered 1 story residences on 1 acre lots?
