What better way to celebrate the arrival of our new online A Peek at the Peak magazine, apeekatthepeak.org., than by presenting photographs of Pinnacle Peak sunrises enriched by a few words of wisdom. We thank Kathy Mascaro, Yvonne Massman, and Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park for rising to the occasion and providing brilliant sunrise photographs.

“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” Eleanor Roosevelt

“The beginning is the most important part of the work.” Plato

“This new day has greeted us with no rules; only unconditional opportunity … Greet this day the way it has greeted you; with open arms and endless possibility.” Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free

“How glorious a greeting the sun gives the mountains!” John Muir

“It is change, continuing change, inevitable change, that is the dominant factor in society today. No sensible decision can be made any longer without taking into account not only the world as it is, but the world as it will be.” Isaac Asinov

“Another sunrise, another new beginning.” Unknown

“Following the light of the sun, we left the Old World.” Christopher Columbus
